Cookies Policy

Last updated: 23 July 2026

1. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help sites function, remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use them. This policy also covers similar technologies such as browser localStorage.

2. How we use cookies

Round One (roundone.tech) uses a small number of cookies and localStorage entries. We group them as follows:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to work, including authentication with our backend, security, and remembering that you have dismissed the cookie banner.
  • Preferences — remember choices you make, such as the accessibility adjustments you enable (font, text size, spacing, motion, contrast). Stored in your browser only.
  • Payments — when you buy tickets, Stripe sets cookies on its checkout pages to process your payment securely. See Stripe's cookie policy.
  • Forms — our application form is embedded via Typeform, which may set its own cookies. See Typeform's cookie policy.

3. Analytics and advertising

We do not set third-party advertising cookies. If we add analytics in future, we will update this page and ask for your consent where required.

4. Managing your preferences

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the site from working. Accessibility preferences can be reset from the accessibility button in the bottom-right of the page.
